Grilled Fig & Crab Cake Sandwich
I was hungry the other day and was looking for something fast to prepare before heading out the door again. I had fresh figs and a frozen Crab Cake. I nuked the crab cake for a few secs in the microwave for quick thaw, grilled it along with the figs and placed them on a couple slices of cut up Ficelle. A little mustard and lunch was served! The combination of savory, sweet and a bit of heat from the mustard (Maille) was just perfect.














What a great little sandwich...of course with my shellfish allergy it's a no-go for me...but I think N would LOVE it...
Lenn: you can susbtitute the crab for yours. Or how about a big portobello mushroom, grilled. Yum!
