It snowed in Seattle today. Okay, it was barely a dusting downtown. By the time we got up and I went to check Da*Xiang --and saw Stef's snow pic and rushed to open the blinds to take a peek out our windows-- there was barely any left. And like a mirage, it quickly vanished a few minutes later.
Snow, oddly enough, is the one thing I've missed the most about living in Chicago and any sighting of it, no matter how small or fleeting, makes me giddy and turns back the clock in an instant.
At least Queen Anne and the Central District saw enough of it and even some of the children managed to make a few snowmen. I remain hopeful that we get at least one snow day this year or maybe two like the ones we enjoyed a year ago. :-)
