Last Friday, on the way to see Capote at the Harvard Exit, I got a peek at chef Scott Simpson's brand new bag. And after a little chat with the sous chef, the big guy himself--a friendly and welcoming man whose culinary hero is none other than Señor Adrià-- and a quick look around it seemed interesting enough to make a reservation for dinner for the following evening--the soft opening was to be New Year' Eve, ha!
Alas, my old friend Ms. Influenza came to visit (and stay, early bird flu shot notwithstanding) managing to spoil my dinner plans. Pity! However, as soon as I am all better I plan to swing by and try it out.
Is there any funky foam on the menu? I'll keep you posted.
