And it was even more delicious than I thoughtit would be. Made with Friday's leftover raisin raisin challah, local eggs and honey purchased at the Ballard Farmers Market (from Washington Bees that took a trip to California to pollinate lime, lemon and orange crops). No cinammon or vanilla was added. This was nothing but bread egg and honey.

Where does one buy really good challah in Seattle? Thanks ...

Hi! I have three favorites:

Leah's Bakery & catering in Ravenna (2205 NE 65th St, Seattle, 98115 (206) 985-2647)

Macrina Bakery & Cafe downtown (2408 1st Avenue Seattle, WA 98121 206-448-4032) (their round challah with golden raisins for Rosh Hashanah is the best in town)

Dahlia Bakery also downtown: 2001 Fourth Ave. Seattle, WA 98121 (206) 441-4540

Others I've tried that are also good are at Whole Foods, Columbia City Bakery and Metropolitan Market.

Hope this helps!

Hi, what's the name of the honey people who sell the citrus honey? Now that the market is closed for winter, how else can I get it?

Thanks!

Hi! It is Golden Harvest/The Bee Ranch out of Whidbey Island, WA. (98253) Their honeys are raw/unprocessed and of amazing quality. :) They sell at the Ballard Farmers Market which thankfully is open year round. V
