The gift of French hot chocolate and cookies

French_hot_chocolate

While at Sweet & Savory I saw jar after pretty hand decorated and labeled jar of Cynthia Brock's famous French Hot Chocolate turn into delectable gifts to grab and go.

Inside the jar, the chocolate, heavy cream and spices base that goes into every dainty cup of this amazing and luxurious drink for you to take home and enjoy with friends and family.

A couple heaping tablespoons of the base, a little half and half, heated stove-top and you have a most delicious and and festive drink.

The staff was also baking the last few batches of the prettiest assortment of cookies (the redolent of cinnamon rugelach is my ultimate favorite) for the popular cookie tins Sweet & Savory offers for sale during this time of year. As far as I know there were only two tins left for sale. $40 each.

I am salivating hearing about this cup of hot chocolate. It is still early morning and cold. Wish I had one right now...

So no fat in there, then? Completely calorie free? Dietary fare?

LOL!

J, it is definitely not tomatoes. V

Dear Seattle Bon Vivant!
Greetings!
Bonjour!
I had the surprise and pleasure to discover your blog at Pascale's!
I am a French expat living in Japan. I am extremely interested in Gastronomy, particularly sushi (I have made a extensive website on that subject and will start a blog soon!). In fact, I am interested in any food and drinks, notwithstanding all the good places where you can savour them!
Looking forward to exchanging recipes, notes and all that!
Cheers,
Robert-Gilles Martineau

Hello from a Seattlite living in Italy! You blog is fabulous. One of my favorite things about Seattle, that I'm always telling my friends about here, is the fact that one eats very, very well there. Will definitely be bookmarking your blog.
Happy New Year!

Just wanted to say I'm a huge fan of your blog! I too am a HUGE Sweet and Savory (and Cremant) fan.

I've been meaning to get to Sweet & Savory for so long. I think 2007 will mark the year I actually get there.

Hi...Could you please help me find the story about your 'favorite walking route in the Marais.' The one with the street names. I've been looking and looking....thank you!
