Here you go Nick, fotos de comida para tí. Pictured are a few of our favorite dishes from La Carta de Oaxaca.
- Entomatada de Salsa Verde
- Lamb Birria
- Caldo de Pescado
- Pozole (and garnishes)
- Guacamole
- Tortillas (handmade, to order)
- Tostadas
- Tamale de Mole Negro
- Chiles Rellenos
- Tacos al Pastor
- Tacos de Carne Asada
- Flan
Not pictured are the rest of the dishes we love which happen to be pretty much the rest of the items on the menu such as Mole Negro Oaxaqueño, Molotes and Quesadillas Fritas.
The Pico de Gallo and Salsas--at the bar, self-serve-- are wonderfully fresh and über tasty. Their coffee--a lo Mexicano, with a generous sprinkle of cinnamon-- is also lovely and all by itself a nice way to round up a meal here.
Whatever is not pictured we did not bother taking pictures of because frankly, the food here is too yummy to have to wait for photos and the atmosphere and friendly staff too distracting for even the quickest of snapshots.
Yep, we absolutely love this place to bits. We can't help ourselves. This is a restaurant worth driving to Ballard for and waiting an hour to eat at. Definitely one of our top five Seattle eateries.
